Belgian artist (1898–1967) best known for his paintings in a surrealist, humor-tinged style, often incorporating such trademark elements as bowler hat–wearing men, windows, eyes, and female torsos. ALS in French, one page on a 5.75 x 4.25 postcard depicting his 1956 work entitled ‘Anne-Marie,’ June 3, 1957. Untranslated.
