The tallest documented human being of modern times (1918–1940), Wadlow reached a height of 8´11″ and made his living as a touring novelty attraction and shoe company spokesman before dying at the age of 22. Uncommon vintage glossy 3.25 x 5.25 postcard photo of Wadlow towering over his father, signed vertically in fountain pen. A few light creases, surface impressions from notations on reverse, and a bit of mild silvering, otherwise fine condition. Not many Wadlow photos are signed on the image side. RR Auction COA.
