Keating pens a lengthy excerpt from the first chapter of “Inspector Ghote Trusts the Heart.” In part: “Manibhai Desai’s right arm shot out in a stiffened gesture. The rigid forefinger was directed at the untidy little nest on the round glass-topped table.” In fine condition, with a central horizontal fold and scattered creases. RR Auction COA.
