‘R’ hologram-style RIAA gold record award presented to legendary engineer and producer Ron Nevison commemorating the sale of more than 500,000 copies of the soundtrack to the Tom Cruise film Days of Thunder. Framed with its plaque, a CD, cassette, and a small image of the album artwork to an overall size of 17 x 21. In fine condition. Released in 1990, the soundtrack featured songs by David Coverdale, Tina Turner, Chicago, and Guns N’ Roses’ cover of Bob Dylan’s ‘Knockin’ on Heaven’s Door,’ a year prior to a slightly different version on their Use Your Illusion II album.
