An RIAA-certified gold record award on its white linen matte, presented to Capitol Records “to commemorate the sale of more than one million dollars worth of the Capitol Records long-playing record album ‘Stage Fright.’” Framed with the gold disc, engraved plaque, and an image of the album cover to an overall size of 17.5 x 21.5. There is no New York Picture & Frame Co. sticker on reverse, indicating that the backing may be a replacement. In fine condition. Provenance: Christies, 2006. RR Auction COA.
