British newspaper and publishing magnate (1865–1922). Matte-finish 6 x 7.5 E. O. Hoppe photo of Harmsworth affixed to a 6.25 x 8.5 mount, which is in turn affixed to a 9.75 x 11.75 mount, inscribed in fountain pen on the larger mount, and signed under the image on the smaller mount, “Northcliffe 1918.” In very good condition, with photo partially peeling from mount, and moderate silvering to corners of image.
