French Romantic poet and playwright (1810–1857). Manuscript ADS, in French, signed “Alfd de Musset,” one page, 9 x 4.5, November 19, 1852. Brief receipt for a little over 500 francs from the publisher Charpentier, signed at the conclusion by Musset. In fine condition, with three vertical folds, one through a single letter of signature, and slightly rough edges. RR Auction COA.
