Letter to a NASA enthusiast. In part: “Thank you for your note of congratulations on the success of Surveyor I. We hope that the six Surveyors to follow will enjoy the same success. I am happy to send you a representative set of photographs taken by Surveyor but, of course, no reports are as yet available on the mission.” Includes the full set of JPL Surveyor photos referred to in the letter, as well as two glossy NASA photos, and a letter from Pickering’s assistant.
