Two items: a printed copy of Pauling’s April 15, 1962, letter to the New York Times, one page, 8.5 x 11, stating his opposition to nuclear testing, signed at the top in black ink; and a souvenir treaty, one page, 8.5 x 11, commemorative Nuclear Test Ban Treaty featuring a preamble and five articles of the Nuclear Test Ban Treaty. Agreement is between the United States, Great Britain and Northern Ireland, and the Soviet Union, and bears the printed signatures of Dean Rusk and John F. Kennedy, as well as a 1964 postal cancellation and first day of issue stamp, signed at the bottom in black ink by Pauling. In fine condition.
