Cavendish, a passenger on the ‘Titanic’…I acknowledge receipt of the following effects: £7 in gold, 1 Gold watch, 1 Pair gold cuff links, 1 Gold stud, 1 Fountain pen, 1 pencil, 2 Check books.” Quickly signed at the conclusion, in pencil, by a family member.
