Collection of 14 ALSs, each signed “Charles,” various sizes, all from the 1930s and 40s, and all to Charles Abramson. One letter, on French Research Foundation letterhead reads, in part: “I’m returning the play you sent me. It has some quality—but definitely not the part I’m looking for.” Another letter reads, in part: “I start shooting tomorrow. Fortunately in Paris, the studio houses are more civilized than in Hollywood. We work between noon and 7:30 PM.” In fine condition, with pencil notations by Abramson on the first page of the letters.
