French cardinal (1763–1839), closely associated with the family of Napoleon Bonaparte. Manuscript DS (true copy), in French, signed “J. Card Fesch,” one page, 7.5 x 12.5, October 20, 1806. A true copy of a document issued by Napoleon. In part (translated): “We…decree as follows: Cardinal Maury is named Cardinal Chaplain to our brother Prince Jerome.
