Montagu,” one page both sides, 7 x 8, West Central Liberal Jewish Congregation letterhead, March 7, 1954. A letter of recommendation for Dr. F Solomonski, an associate minister. In part: “He has had to face considerable opposition from the Orthodox community in Leigh, and has presented the teachings of Liberal Judaism with great fervour and enthusiasm.” In fine condition, with scattered mild soiling, a few creases and wrinkles, and a small tear to the right edge.
