Celebrated soprano (1820–1887), known as the ‘Swedish Nightingale,’ who, under the management of P. T. Barnum, became the most renowned and highly paid singer of her day. Ink signature, “The kind remembrance of Jenny Lind Goldschmidt, London, March 1881,” on an off-white 5.25 x 2.75 clipped slip.
