This was the Stones' first tour of Europe since 1967; thus, a first chance for fans to see and hear the group's newest member, guitarist Mick Taylor. During the 5-week jaunt from August 30 to October 9, the Stones played to audiences in Sweden, Finland, Denmark, Germany, France, Austria, and The Netherlands.
