American composer (1896–1989) best known for his two operas written with Gertrude Stein. Thomson was also the only composer ever to receive the Pulitzer Prize in Music for a film score (Louisiana Story, 1948). Two items: TLS, one page, 5.5 x 8.5, personal letterhead, dated July 5, 1983. I don’t know if it will help him grow mentally but hinder him I know it won’t, and just maybe he will find listening to it a little bit pleasurable.
