Pseudonym of prominent Danish author Karen Blixen (1885–1962), best known for her account of life in Kenya, Out of Africa, later adapted into an Academy Award–winning film. ANS in Dutch, signed “T.,” on a 3.5 x 5.5 postcard, no date, but postmarked May 1912. Short untranslated note on the correspondence side of a picture postcard of Rome. Dinesen has also addressed the postcard, apparently to a relative, as she has written her last name on the address line. Uniform toning and some scattered light soiling, otherwise fine condition. RRAuction COA.
