Alexander Brailowsky

Ukrainian French pianist (1896-1976) who rose to fame in the 1920s and 1930s as a concert pianist, specializing in the works of Frederic Chopin. Vintage glossy 8 x 10 photo, signed and inscribed in fountain pen, “To Stanley Lewis Portnow, in remembrance of A. Brailowsky, November 1943.” Light surface creasing and dings, and horizontal creases running through the facial area, but not affecting the signature, otherwise fine condition. RRAuction COA.
