Squirrel monkey, who along with Able, became the first monkeys to successfully return to Earth after traveling in space (defined as above 50 mile altitude by the US at the time). Two paw prints of Miss Baker’s hands on an off-white 10 x 4.5 partial envelope panel, bearing a September 28, 1972, postal cancellation, and addressed to a gentleman in Centerville, Ohio. Panel is missing lower right corner and is toned and soiled along edges. Accompanied by a letter from Miss Baker’s trainer, written to the original recipient, which reads, in part: “Sorry to have taken so long getting back to you. But I did not have a reason to catch her until last week when they made some movies of her (Miss Baker) outside.
