Two items: TLS signed “Mary Pickford Fairbanks,” one page, 8.5 x 11, Mary Pickford Company letterhead, April 10, 1929, authorizing access to her safety deposit box at the Bank of Italy in Hollywood; and a TLS signed “Mary Pickford,” one page, 8.5 x 11, Sherry-Netherland letterhead, April 27, 1932, granting access to a safety deposit box at the Bank of America Hollywood branch. The second letter reads in part, “This will authorize my representative…to open my safety deposit box and extract therefrom a square cut diamond shaped diamond pendant on a platinum neck chain.” In overall fine condition, with intersecting horizontal and vertical folds (a vertical fold crossing “Pickford”) and two small holes on the first letter, and light toning and bank stampings on both letters. Accompanied by a letter on Mary Pickford Company letterhead identifying two items removed from a box and a bank envelope with Pickford’s typed name. RRAuction COA.
