French engineer (1832–1923) best remembered for designing the tower that bears his name. Partly-printed DS, in French, signed “G. Eiffel,” one page, 5 x 3.5, March 1, 1889. Admission card for the “Societe Des Ingenieurs Civils” issued to “Monsieur de Guillen Garcia,” signed at the conclusion by Eiffel as the society’s president.
