An original Joseph Cosey forgery of an Oliver Cromwell document, 9.25 x 9, dated November 6, 1657. The fabrication is signed “Oliver P.” In very good condition, with intersecting folds, one vertical fold passing through his name, scattered toning, foxing, and missing paper at the top right corner and bottom edge. While Cosey is far better known for his American-related fabrications, clearly he also dabbled in attempting to deceive collectors of the Realm as well. RRAuction COA.
