The Budapest String Quartet was a string quartet in existence from 1917 to 1967, originally consisting of three Hungarians and a Dutchman and at the peak of their popularity considered to be the ‘Beatles’ of string quartets. Ink signatures of Josef Roisman, Boris Kroyt, Mischa Schneider, and Alexander Schneider on a 5 x 3.25 card. Roisman has added the name of the quartet and the date 'New York, Dec. 8, 1936.'
