Pulitzer Prize–winning American author (1905–1989) best known for his classic 1946 novel All the King’s Men. Two items: a glossy 8 x 10 photo, signed in the lower border in black ballpoint; and an ALS, one page, 5.5 x 3.5, no date, but postmarked June 14, 1982, responding to an admirer. In part: “Which book is closest to me? I don’t reckon I think that way…But once a book is done, I’m thinking about the next one.” In fine condition. RRAuction COA.
