Major General in the US Marine Corps (1881-1940) nicknamed ‘The Fighting Quaker,’ who at the time of his death was the most decorated Marine in US history, and is one of only 19 people to twice receive the Medal of Honor. Vintage sepia matte-finish 10.25 x 13.5 photo, signed and inscribed in white ink “To John B. McKillen, with my best wishes, S. D. Butler, Maj. Genl.
