Manuscript DS, signed “J. Rodgers,” and “W. Smallwood,” one page, 19 x 13.5, signed by Smallwood as governor of Maryland between 1785-1788. Land grant for 460 acres of land in Maryland issued to John Lynch. Signed in the upper left by Rodgers and Smallwood. Matted and framed, with the large seal visible, to an overall size of 24 x 21.75. In very good condition, with intersecting folds, scattered moderate toning and soiling, and a few small separations. The seal is intact and toned. Oversized. RRAuction COA.
