Truman writes to Mr. and Mrs. Lebold. In part: “I am very sorry to be so slow writing to thank you for the lovely New Testament you sent to my Mother, Mrs. Martha E. Truman. She is so pleased with your gift and I have read some of the Psalms and other Scriptures to her…her eyesight is failing so that she cannot read as much as she would like.” In fine condition, with two strips of toning on the reverse.
