Spanish violinist and composer (1844-1908). Choice 4.25 x 6.5 cabinet portrait by Elliott & Fry of London (and so noted at the bottom and stamped on reverse), showing Sarasate holding his violin, signed vertically in black ink, “Pablo de Sarasate, Strasbourg 19-11-97.” A few light scuffs and trivial silvering, otherwise fine condition.
