TLS, one page, 6 x 8.25, Chief of Defence Staff, Ministry of Defence letterhead, July 8, 1963. Letter headed in Mountbatten’s hand, “My dear Secretary,” reads, in part: “I would be most grateful if you could tell me whether in fact Zentner was a member of the Royal Society of Arts, and if so whether you would have any objection to Herr Kunz writing to you.” A notation in an unknown hand at the bottom states “Zentner is not listed as a member of the Society of Arts and we have no documents relating to him.” Several notation to lower left, staple holes to top left corner, and a couple small creases, otherwise fine condition.
