Road will send me in by an extra engine from Springvale to Morrill’s Corner tomorrow (Friday) afternoon—Your train to Augusta passes there about 5:30—which is the time I am to arrive—It is exceedingly important that I should reach Augusta tomorrow eve—May I ask you to direct your train (leaves Portland 5:15) to wait a short time at Morrill’s Corner if I should not be on time—It will be a very great favor to me.” In fine condition, with several horizontal folds and light scattering soiling.
