In part: “The offer seems a sensible and practical offer to me, and I’ve sent the contracts and a copy of your letter on to Sterling Lord, who is my literary agent, telling him so…I trust you realize that the book we’re talking about is the book I outlined to you in my letter of proposal—a volume of journal entries from the 1960s.” In fine condition.
