Vintage program from the 18th Annual Golden Gloves Tournament held in Seattle, Washington in February 1953, 7.5 x 10, two pages. Signed on the inside page above a welcome message to Louis, “Joe Louis,” and inscribed in another hand “To my little friend Frederick Albright, Best wishes.” Accompanied by a 1953 letter of provenance from the man who acquired the signature. He writes, “I had Joe Louis as a guest referee and it was a big show with the best boxers from the west. So I thought I would send Freddie…a program which he autographed.” Intersecting storage folds and handling wear to program, otherwise fine condition.
