Eighth president of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. TLS signed “Geo. Albert Smith,” one page, 8.5 x 11, Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints letterhead, November 28, 1949. Letter to a woman writing a cook book. In part: “I have an idea that most people are unaware of the fact that whole wheat, not cracked, properly cooked as a cereal is a most valuable and important part of one’s diet. This is not only the most economical food I know of, but a most remarkable one as well. It is very tasty when served with sugar and cream.” Accompanied by the original mailing envelope. In fine condition, with intersecting folds, one through a single letter of signature. RRAuction COA.
