Letter to Reverend Ivan Melville Terwilliger, in full: “Many thanks for your letter containing suggestions that might be of use to our Antarctic Expedition. I am taking the liberty of turning your letter over to one of the members of our scientific staff for consideration. We do not have a chaplain among our personnel. I appreciate your offer to volunteer your services and thank you for your interest in our problems.” In fine condition, with intersecting mailing folds, a paper clip impression and single staple hole to upper edge.
