Illustrator best known for his work in Uncle Remus. ALS signed “F. E. Church,” one page, 5 x 7, October 24, 1913. Brief letter to Mrs. Bush. In full, “I will take my big telescope and go down at the first opportunity. Will report later.” Church adds a wonderful colored pencil and ink sketch of a winged cherub walking with a telescope. In fine condition, with light toning, heavier at the edges, a couple small tape repairs to horizontal fold, and some light foxing and spotting along top. RRAuction COA.
