This vintage program was issued for the “Salute to Stevenson—Kefauver Dinner,” which was held on October 17, 1956 and sponsored by the Middlesex-Mercer County Democratic Organization. The 8 x 11 remembrance is signed in blue fountain pen at Kennedy’s interior full-page portrait. Accompanying the item is an original “John F. Kennedy for President” campaign button, and a name tag for the event (the original recipient’s name has long been whited-out). A few trivial creases affect the program’s cover, and some light furrows (and more creases) are evident on Kennedy’s image, otherwise fine condition. RRAuction COA.
