Signed book: The Unsinkable Charlie Brown. First edition, first printing. NY: Holt, Rinehart, and Winston, 1966. Paperback, 5.25 x 8. Peanuts creator Charles Schulz (1922-2000) signed and inscribed the title page of his 1966 release. The green felt tip writing declares, “For the Hales with friendship—Charlie Schulz.” Opposite the bold signature, the cartoonist added a full-length sketch of Snoopy sitting in the grass, and noted below the image, “Schulz.” The book itself is in fine condition with light toning to the spine, and a small area of discoloration at the front cover.
