Seven items: 1961 TLS signed “Rockwell Kent,” discussing postage stamps and seals of his own design and mentioning his illustrated edition of Moby Dick; ink signature, “Rockwell Kent,” on a white 4 x 2.5 card with affixed Kent-designed “On Earth Peace” adhesive seal; ballpoint signature, “Henry Moore,” on a white 4 x 2.5 card with affixed 1958 Monaco postage stamp with a composite image including one of Moore’s sculptures (signature written partly across stamp); a Belgian postage stamp with an image of a Moore sculpture, signed in black ink in the selvage; ANS at the foot of a 1973 TLS letter to Norman Rockwell regarding stamps and his distinctive “printed” signature, obliging with said signature; a 1960 FDC with a cachet honoring the Boy Scouts and a Rockwell-designed postage stamp, signed in ballpoint “Sincerely, Norman Rockwell,” again using his “printed” signature; and a 1968 Austrian stamp collector’s sheet with an affixed Kokoshcka-designed stamp, signed in ink “Oskar Kokoschka, Villeneuse, 24.III.1969.” Horizontal fold and mild handling wear to last item, otherwise very fine condition.
