In full: “I acknowledge with thanks your courteous invitation to attend the Fair of the New England Agricultural Society at Portland Maine in August next. I regret that my plans and engagements for my Summer vacation will not permit me to attend.” In fine condition, with a bit of mild toning, and mounting remnants to reverse.
