Distinguished Finnish composer (1865–1957) of romantic-nationalistic tendencies, best known for his seven completed symphonies and the tone poem Finlandia. Color 4.25 x 6 postcard photo of an artist’s portrait of Sibelius, signed in fountain pen. Accompanied by the original mailing envelope postmarked 1957. In fine condition, with a couple of light creases and surface marks, and signature a shade or two light against darker portion of image, but completely legible. RRAuction COA.
