Here, the pride and joy of Charles Lindbergh (1902–1974) is very clearly pictured at one of its historic destinations: the Spirit of St. Louis is docked at Le Bourget Airport in Paris where “Lucky Lindy” landed at the conclusion of his historic, 1927 non-stop flight from New York to France. The renowned pilot signed the vintage, 6.75 x 4.5 photograph “Charles A. Lindbergh,” and the ink signature displays nicely against the glossy keepsake. A few scattered and minor surface marks are present, yet this terrific survivor exhibits fine condition. Accompanied by an unsigned photo of Lindbergh posing with his beloved plane. RRAuction COA.
