Matte-finish 16 x 11 Harris & Ewing photo of the court circa 1940–41, signed in ink by Charles E. Hughes, Owen J. Roberts, J. C. McReynolds, Harlan F. Stone, Hugo L. Black, Wm. O. Douglas, Stanley Reed, Felix Frankfurter, and Frank Murphy. In very good condition, with a few marginal creases, repaired tear at lower left edge just extending into background of image, light scattered silvering and soiling, smudging to Hughes’s signature, and irregular ink flow to McReynolds’s last name (last few letters light but legible).
