Czech statesman (1886–1948) who served as the Czech Foreign Minister from 1940 until his death under mysterious circumstances. Matte-finish 4 x 6 on a 6 x 8.5 mount, signed and inscribed in fountain pen on the mount “To Marcel H. Jaspar in friendship and gratitude from Jan Masaryk, Last War Easter in London.” The mount is also signed in pencil by the photographer. Framed to an overall size of 7.5 x 10.
