Influential German statesman (1815–1898), known as the Iron Chancellor, who served as the first Chancellor of the German Empire from 1871–1890. Vintage sepia 2.25 x 4 carte-de-visite photo with the backstamp of Numa Blanc and Co., Paris, signed in fountain pen along the bottom.
