Hall of Famer who won four home run titles while with the Cubs; his 1930 season still inspires awe: 191 RBI (the all-time major league record), 56 home runs (a National League record for 68 years) and a .356 batting average. Scarce vintage fountain pen signature, “Lewis R. Wilson,” on an off-white 3 x .75 slip clipped from a 1924 World Series program page. Accompanied by a photocopy of a letter of authenticity from PSA for the whole page which originally bore the signature. Stray ink mark at top and a couple of light vertical lines through first name of signature, otherwise fine condition. JSA/Mike Gutierrez Auction LOA and RRAuction COA.
