Russian pianist and composer (1829–1894) acclaimed as one of the foremost keyboard artists of all time. Ink signature, “Stuttgart … 1870, Ant. Rubinstein,” on an off-white 8.5 x 5.5 sheet of Hotel Marquardt, Stuttgart letterhead.
