Astronaut (1926–1967) who perished in a flash fire during a test of the Apollo 1 command module that also claimed the lives of Roger Chaffee and Ed White. Vintage ballpoint signature and inscription, “Regards to Polly, Gus Grissom,” adding the Mercury 7 emblem under his signature, on an off-white 5 x 3.5 slip.
