Character actor (1879–1961) best remembered as the mad scientist Dr. Praetorius in The Bride of Frankenstein. Vintage matte-finish 8 x 10 photo, signed and inscribed “To Henry from Ernest Thesiger, ‘Silas Maydig’” [his character in the 1936 film The Man Who Could Work Miracles].
