DS as president, one page, 15 x 9.5, May 6, 1824. President Monroe grants Jacob Hallar 156 acres of land in Ohio. Signed at the conclusion by Monroe, and countersigned by Commissioner of the General Land Office George Graham. Double matted and framed with a portrait of Monroe, to an overall size of 27 x 15.25. In good to very good condition, with Monroe’s signature light, but legible, previous moderate storage folds, some light toning, scattered creases and wrinkles, and a cracked, but intact seal.
