LS in French, signed “Napoleon,” one page, 7.75 x 12.25, February 20, 1782. Napoleon writes to his cousin (a pencil notation on the adjacent blank gives the recipient as Cardinal Altieri) sending greetings and thanks for the good wishes expressed in the recipient’s Christmas letter. Small separations at folds, otherwise fine condition. RRAuction COA.
